Welcome to Clover Meadow Farm
At Clover Meadow Farm, we specialize in breeding show-quality, award-winning sheep and beef animals. We are dedicated to developing multiple bloodlines and continuously improving the genetics of our herd and flock. Our featured sheep breed is the "Babydoll Southdown", known for their exceptional quality and performance in the show ring, and cuteness. All of our Babydoll Southdowns are NABSSAR or BSRA Registered.
About the creator
My story
My name is Natalie Oakes, I am a sophomore in high school, and I am extremely passionate about agriculture. My show career started when I was 8 years old with alpacas and rabbits. In 2020 when the pandemic hit, I got my first market lamb, Sherlock, and he is the face behind the creation of Clover Meadows. He never got sold at County fair, because he didn't make weight, therefore he came home with us. The barn was empty and he needed freind's ASAP. That's when we started investing in the Babydoll Southdowns. Unfortunately, he passed away the 25th of January 2025, but without hesitation and lots of determination we keep marching on to be better every day!
Me as a Showman
As a Showman I do show markets, as I believe it is an important part of being involved in agriculture. We do not sell markets but, personally I show them. I take pride in showing market steers and breeding heifers as well. However, Babydoll Southdowns are a top favorite for me.
Do we sell beef cattle?
I am delighted to say that 2024 was our first year with beef cows and we are excited to grow a herd!

Our farm is located in Western NY and was created in 2020. Only having one market lamb that didn't make weight was an issue for us in 2020. This small circumstance led to bigger success with inevitably leads us to today, I work hard everyday to improve my business and invest in and the best possible show quality Babydolls
